Project Portfolio
Representative project in both new construction and renovation have included historic structures, industrial plants, multi-family housing, schools and universities, sports centers and arenas, hospitals, medical offices, retail centers and more.

American Airlines Arena
IRT was retained to design the roof of the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, as the original design did not meet the Miami-Dade wind uplift requirements. The arena faces Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami, making wind uplift conditions a primary concern. IRT completed wind uplift engineering calculations to determine the design pressure for the building. Once the design pressure was determined, a suitable system was designed and proper attachment procedures were specified.

Ford Truck Assembly Plant
Paragon Roofing Technology, provided design assistance from the outset of Ford Motor Company Garden Roof at their Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan. The garden roof at this facility is the largest in North America with more than two million square feet of roof plantings. In addition to design and material selection assistance, full time quality control inspections were provided to ensure all components of the roof garden assembly were properly completed.

Miami Beach Convention Center
IRT conducted a full exterior building analysis of the Miami Beach Convention Center to determine the waterproofing capacity of the exterior walls. Defects to the exterior walls were identified and a complete remedial wall specification was prepared to eliminate further moisture intrusion into the facility
